Festivities in Campello- Virgen del Carmen 15 de Julio

The day before July 16 is the day dedicated to the patron saint of the sea and fishermen in the Bay of El Campello. The procession is celebrated both in the sea and in the town walking to the virgin del Carmen from the port to the hermitage. Festivities  Moros y Cristianos in Villajoyosa – from 24 to 31 de Julio

The festival of Moros & Cristianos declared of international tourist interest, recreate the battle of 1538 when the Berber pirates attacked and disembarked in the city of Vila. A beautiful show that lasts seven days in which the most traditional dances and night parties in their well-known and popular ranks are always accompanied by the most typical parades. It is worth highlighting the most symbolic act of these festivities, the disembarkation celebrated during the early morning of July 28 at sea in which a naval fight and the landing on the beach are shown.
